The Neuqua Valley Booster Club awards scholarships to deserving Neuqua Valley senior athletes. Selection criteria used in awarding Athletic Booster Club scholarships will be based on a combination of student
achievement, student essay, and participation in school/sport/IHSA activities.
2024 Scholarship Applications are now open!!! Please complete the application below and submit with your 500 word essay NO LATER than April 8th!!!! All applications/essays must be turned into the Senior House. Your family MUST have active Booster membership to be eligible for this scholarship.
Scholarship Instructions/Eligibility Requirements:
Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements.
- The Class of 2024 scholarship applicants for the Booster Club scholarship must have participated in an athletic or IHSA sponsored activity at Neuqua Valley during the Fall, Winter or Spring seasons in the 2023-2024 school year.
- Parent or Guardian must be a current NVHS Booster Club member
- Applicants must submit the following in order to be considered for a scholarship:
- Scholarship application, signed and filled out completely
- Student essay (500 words, please put word count on essay)
- List of extra-curricular activities and/or resume
- Two signed letters of recommendation, one must come from a NVHS certified staff member (must have original signature or be on official letterhead. No letter will be accepted via email)
- An official signed letter of verification from counselor and/or 7th semester transcript
- Grade point average must be 2.5 or above
- Please place completed application and all requested materials in a sealed envelope and turn into the Senior House
